Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:21 p.m., Sarnia Police Service contacted the Chatham Kent Police Service advising they had a man in custody wanted on a warrant held by CKPS.
The man was wanted for weapon offences related to a September 2023 investigation on Centre Sideroad in Chatham Township.
The 24-year-old Sarnia man was transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of July 15, 2024.
He has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and mischief under $5,000.
