Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:50 p.m., the woman turned herself in to the police.
The woman was wanted on a warrant as a result of a July 7, 2024, assault investigation in Wallaceburg.
On July 7, 2024, the woman engaged in a verbal argument with another woman outside a business on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
The argument escalated when the woman assaulted the other woman, resulting in injuries that required medical attention.
The 31-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and released with conditions and a future court date of August 26, 2024. She is currently facing the following charge: assault causing bodily harm.
