Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:19 a.m., police responded to Canterbury Street in Chatham for a threats investigation.
Officers learned the man approached a homeowner and without provocation, threatened to harm them.
The 29-year-old Chatham-Kent man was located and arrested and short distance away.
He was transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of September 9, 2024.
He is currently facing the following charges: uttering threats.
