Dragonfly Stained Glass in Wallaceburg is offering a beginners class this fall.
“In this beginner course, you will learn the basic techniques of the copper foil method, including cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering,” says Brenda Henry, owner.
“The first project will be a simple sun catcher to help you get familiar with the materials and techniques. After that, you’ll choose from a few different patterns for a more challenging project.”
The course will run for six weeks, starting on October 13, 2024:
– Sunday: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
– Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
– Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
– Thursday: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“Tools and materials are provided and included in the course fee,” Henry said.
“The cost of glass is extra.”
The course fee is $230, which is due upon registration.
