The Tartan Boys Baseball team clinched the LKSSAA Championship title recently with a narrow 9-8 victory over Sarnia Northern, marking their third championship win in the past four years.
The scoring remained tight through each inning, with the Tartans taking the lead in the third and fifth innings.
Pitching duties were divided among Jacob Helps, who held the mound for the first four innings, Brock Lane for the fifth, and Noah VanRuymbeke for the final two innings.
On offense, Ethan Rosseel and Nash Lane each contributed a double and two singles, while Brock Lane and Jace Burgess added doubles to the team’s tally.
Lucas Laprise and Nathan Bastow each contributed a single, rounding out a solid offensive performance.
