With great sadness we announce that on November 12, 2024, Jared Gregory Smith, a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed away suddenly at the age of 48.
Left behind to love and remember him always will be his wife Wendy Smith (Howe) and his children Chance Sands, Gracie and Crystal Smith, Joan Howe, Bryce and Brayden Patchett.
Cherished Papa to Amaya and Neveah Gratton. Beloved son of Darlene Shipman & Darryl Smith and son-in-law of Vicki and Mark Howe.
Dear brother of Laban, Nathaniel, Keely, Candice, Sarah, Mark, Donald, Michael and the late Spring and Fabian.
He will be remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and Friends are invited to gather at Highbanks Cemetery (Walpole Island) for Jared’s graveside service on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 1pm.
