Theft investigation at Walmart in Chatham leads to charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at approximately 6:15 p.m. officers were called to Walmart on St. Clair Street in Chatham for a theft investigation.

Upon arrival, police learned the women left Walmart with a full cart of groceries.

They were quickly located, each were arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property and later released from custody with a future court date to answer to the charges.
