OPP officials allege: On December 10, 2024, at approximately 10:23 p.m., members of the Tecumseh detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Tecumseh Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle fire on Manning Road in the Town of Tecumseh.
The driver of the transport truck exited the vehicle at which time it began to smoke and eventually caught fire.
Manning Road was closed between Baseline Road and Walls Road for several hours while emergency crews were on scene but has since been reopened. The vehicle has been removed from the roadway.
There were no injuries reported.
Investigators believe the cause of the fire to be nonsuspicious.
