Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 12, 2025, at approximately 8:31 p.m., Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision that occurred at a parking lot on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
Through investigation, it was determined that a 31-year-old female driver from Chatham was involved in the incident exhibited signed of impairment.
Officers conducted a roadside investigation, which included a screening device test.
The driver subsequently failed the test.
She was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where further testing was conducted.
The accused was charged with Operation while impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
She was released with a scheduled court date of April 28, 2025
