Dad’s Market, a long-standing fixture in Wallaceburg, is set to close its doors.
Buddy Labor, the man behind the massive collection, has spent decades gathering an astonishing array of items.
Now, he’s ready to clear it all out in what promises to be one of the largest yard and garage sales ever seen.
Listen to our interview with Buddy, below:
Spanning 30,000 square feet, the sale features an incredible assortment of goods.
From outdoor gardening tools to lawnmowers and snowblowers, there’s something for everyone.
Woodworking and farm tools, wagons, appliances, and furniture—including antiques, dressers, tables, chairs, and artwork—fill the space.
Bicycles, shelves lined with glassware stretching 70 feet, and even trailers, boats, patio stones, and rocks are among the countless items up for grabs.
With so much available, Labor encourages locals and bargain hunters to stay tuned as he prepares to part ways with his extensive collection.
The sale is happening at 64 Garnet Street in Wallaceburg, across from Accurcast.
Doors are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., giving shoppers plenty of time to explore the vast inventory before Dad’s Market bids its final farewell. They’ll also be open Sundays throughout the month of May.
