Driver charged following a two-vehicle crash in Sarnia

OPP officials allege: On June 11, 2025, just before 11:30 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and local fire services, responded to a collision at the intersection of Highway 40 and Plank Road, Sarnia.

One of the drivers was transported to hospital by Lambton EMS with minor injuries.

The other driver was uninjured.

As a result of the investigation, a 73-year-old of Chatham was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following offence: Red light – fail to stop.
