Unwanted communication and threats in Wallaceburg lead to additional charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 11, 2025, at approximately 1:02 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report regarding an ongoing unwanted communications and threats from a 45-year-old male from Wallaceburg who was currently bound by court-imposed conditions.

The complainant reported receiving numerous messages, including threats.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that online communications and a handwritten note were sent to the complainant.

Officers determined that the individual had violated his probation orders and by communicating and making threats.

The accused was located by Chatham-Kent Police Officers and was arrested on reasonable probable grounds for domestic-related offences.

He was transported to South West Detention Centre (SWDC) where he will remain in custody until his next video court appearance scheduled June 13, 2025.

He is currently facing two counts of failing to comply with his probation order.
