With great sadness we announce that John Casey Lauwereys, a longtime resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025 at the age of 77. He leaves behind his beloved wife Rose (Fournie), his children Dona Lauwereys and Brandi (Pat) Teahan as well as his furry grandchildren Lucy, Beau and Willow. Son of the late Dona (Casey) and Agnes (Aggie) Lauwereys and dear brother of Angela (Jim) DeBlaere, Charlie (Betty) Lauwereys, Lee (John) Janisse and Heather (Kevin) Fitzpatrick. John will be remembered fondly by his sister-in-law Marg Sheffer and brother-in-law Joe (Karen) Fournie as well as by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231) on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. His funeral will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11am.
