Municipal offices and most services will be closed Monday, August 4 in recognition of the Civic Holiday.
Other services are scheduled as follows:
Arenas: Blenheim and Thames Campus Arenas are open for scheduled rentals. All other arenas are closed Monday, August 4.
Arts and Culture: Chatham Capitol Theatre, Kiwanis Theatre, CKTickets Box Office, Chatham Cultural Centre, Chatham-Kent Museum, Ridge House Museum, Milner Heritage House, Thames Art Gallery and ARTspace will be closed Monday, August 4.
Cemetery Operations: Cemeteries staff will be available on call for funeral homes that need at-need lot sales or internment orders.
CK Public Health: CK Public Health will be closed on Monday, August 4. Essential after-hours Public Health services are available by calling 1-866-446-8207. Due to the Public Health lab schedule, acceptance of well water samples will be paused starting Friday August 1 at 11am until regular office hours resume on Tuesday August 5.
EarlyON: All EarlyON programs are closed Monday, August 4.
Emergency Services: Police, Fire and Ambulance are operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are accessible by dialing “911” for emergency calls only. The Fire Administration office will be closed on Monday, August 4, re-opening on Tuesday, August 5 at 8:30 a.m.
Employment and Social Services: Employment and Social Services will be closed Monday, August 4.
Entegrus: Entegrus will be closed will be closed Monday, August 4. The emergency call number is 519-352-6300.
Fleet Services: Fleet Services will be closed on Monday, August 4.
Housing Services: Housing Services will be closed on Monday, August 4. The Homeless Response Line at 519-354-6628 for homeless emergencies within Chatham-Kent is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Leaf and Yard Depots: All Leaf and Yard Depots will be open Monday, August 4.
Libraries: All Chatham-Kent Public Library branches will be closed Monday, August 4. Virtual Services are available 24/7 at www.ckpl.ca.
Pools: Pools will be operating only from 1:30pm – 4:00pm Monday, August 4. All other programming is not available. Please visit www.Chatham-Kent.ca/recreation for more information.
Provincial Offences Court: The Provincial Offences Court will be closed Monday, August 5. Please note that during office closures fines can continue to be paid online at www.paytickets.ca.
Public Utilities Commission: The PUC McGeorge Building & the Records Department will be closed on both Friday, August 1 and on Monday, August 4.
Public Works: Administrative offices will be closed Monday August 4, 2025. Road and Water/Wastewater services will be available for emergency service.
RIDE CK: All Ride CK Transit services will not operate Monday, August 4.
Riverview Gardens: Reception and administrative offices will be closed Monday, August 4. Nursing staff can be reached 24/7 by calling 519-352-4823.
Service Ontario: Both the Chatham and Dresden locations will be closed on Monday, August 4.

Waste Depots (Transfer Stations): All Transfer Stations will be open Monday, August 4.
Waste and Recycling: Monday, August 4 waste collection will be delayed by one day. Refer to the 2025 Recycling and Waste Collection Guide for further details.
