Sarnia Police Service officials allege: Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect following two attempted residential break-ins in the city’s central area.
The Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Division said a man attempted to break into a Poplar Avenue home on Aug. 13 at about 12:30 p.m. Two weeks later, on Aug. 31, the same suspect allegedly tried to access a side door at a Raybourne Avenue residence at about 1:20 a.m. Police said he returned to the same residence at about 2:45 a.m. and again attempted to enter through a different door.
Investigators said security camera footage of the suspect has been obtained and released to the public. The video can be viewed, below:
