Mr. James Edward “Jim” Nottley, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 74.
Jim was a son of the late Edward and Elda (Henry) Nottley.
Kind brother of Norma (the late Andre) Chatel.
Predeceased by his sister Tressa (the late Bob) Loosemore.
Dear uncle of Michelle Alexander, Suzanne (Jeff) Huff, Michael Chatel and Andy (Krystle) Chatel.
Great uncle to Natasha, Sam, Todd, Tyler, Emma, Brayden, Mackayla, Cohen and Drew.
He will always be remembered by his friend Scott Marchand.
Jim loved to fish, he also liked hunting and bird watching, He enjoyed music and always kept his faith in the Lord. Jim always looked forward to having coffee with his firneds.
Friends and family will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, Ontario on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 2 p.m., all from the chapel of the funeral home.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the The Sydenham Field Naturalists may be left at the funeral home.
