Firefighters from the Walpole Island Fire Department responded late on Oct. 1, 2025 to a fire at the community dump.
Crews worked for several hours and used multiple tanks of water to bring the blaze under control.
No injuries were reported, and firefighters returned to service.
The department thanked its members for their hard work and dedication to keeping the community safe.
