“Every community deserves the tools to prepare for the unexpected,” said Dunlop. “Through the Community Emergency Preparedness Grant, we’re strengthening their readiness with vital equipment, supplies, and training. Our ongoing partnership with communities across Ontario underscores our government’s commitment to building resilience.”
Communities have previously used the grant to purchase equipment such as generators, communication systems, chainsaws, emergency shelters, specialized kits, and drones for search and rescue.
