Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre launches new community 50/50 raffle series

The Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre is launching a new series of 50/50 raffles aimed at raising funds to support its programs and facility improvements.

Draws will take place throughout the year on December 18, March 13, June 26 and September 24. Proceeds will alternate between supporting general programming and funding the centre’s elevator project, which is designed to make the facility more accessible for everyone.

“This new raffle series replaces our previous in-house biweekly 50/50, giving everyone in the community the chance to participate—and the potential for even bigger jackpots and greater impact,” the centre said in a statement.

For more than 50 years, the Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre has served as a hub for residents aged 45 and older, offering fitness classes, creative workshops, social gatherings and activities that promote connection, health and lifelong learning.

“Your ticket isn’t just a chance to win—it’s a way to give back, connect, and invest in the future of the Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre,” the statement added.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the Centre Office, where staff members Victoria and Silke are available to assist. Proceeds will go toward maintaining the vibrant community space and enhancing accessibility for all participants.
