Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 31-year-old Chatham woman is facing a mischief charge after police say she damaged several personal items belonging to a 32-year-old man during an incident early Nov. 24.
Police were called to a residence around 12:53 a.m. and learned the woman had attended the complainant’s home while he was away. Officers say she intentionally damaged multiple belongings and later admitted to causing the damage.
Windsor Police Service located the woman on Princess Street in Windsor and arrested her. She was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and charged with mischief under $5,000. She was released with a future court date.
