The Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Women’s League marked a successful fundraiser after holding its 50-50 draw on Nov. 28, 2025. The event saw strong community participation, with all 1,000 tickets sold for a total of $5,000 raised.
Half of the proceeds, $2,500, has been donated to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to support its ongoing charitable work in the community. The remaining $2,500 was awarded to the draw’s winner, Pete Abrams.
The Catholic Women’s League thanked everyone who purchased tickets, as well as members and local businesses who helped ensure a full sellout.
