Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Wallaceburg man is facing impaired driving charges after police were called to Langstaff Line on Tuesday evening for a report of a vehicle that had gone through a ditch and into a field.
Officers responded at 7:16 p.m. and later found the man on Forhan Street. Police suspected he had been drinking and issued a breath demand, which resulted in a fail.
The 74-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further testing. He is charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit. He was released on a Form 10 with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 23, 2025.
