Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 45-year-old Chatham woman is being held for bail after police allege she breached a probation order during an early-morning welfare check on Dec. 12.
Officers were called to a residence on Llewellyn Street at 1:16 a.m. and learned a 911 call had been made using another person’s phone.
Police say the woman was under an order prohibiting any contact with an 80-year-old Chatham man, who was found with her when officers arrived.
She was charged with failing to comply with a probation order and taken to police headquarters.
