The Riverview Gardens Family Council has announced Ruth Cumming as the recipient of the 2025 Norm Lachapelle Award for Volunteerism.
The award was created in 2019 by the Riverview Gardens Family Council in honour of fellow member, friend and long-time volunteer Norm Lachapelle, who passed away suddenly in 2018. It recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment and service through volunteering.
Cumming has been volunteering at Riverview Gardens since 2022, assisting with Pub programming on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During that time, she has accumulated nearly 450 volunteer hours.
The Family Council thanked Cumming for her dedication and service to the Riverview Gardens community.
