Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 37-year-old Dresden man and a 48-year-old Camlachie woman were arrested following an investigation into an alleged breach of a release order in Dresden.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officers responded to a report on Dec. 31, 2025, at approximately 8:15 p.m. involving a man who was bound by a release order and was observed in the company of an individual he was prohibited from contacting. Officers conducted a traffic stop on McCreary Line as part of the investigation.
The man was arrested and charged with failure to comply with a release order. The woman was arrested and charged with facilitating a breach of a release order.
Both individuals were transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and scheduled future court dates.
