Chatham-Kent residents are being invited to take part in a public engagement session focused on public utility commission governance and oversight.
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent will host the session on Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Chatham-Kent Civic Centre atrium. The discussion will centre on proposed governance changes, alternative governance models and the potential long-term impacts on public utility oversight and accountability within the community.
Municipal officials say the session is an opportunity for residents to share their perspectives and help inform future decision-making related to public utilities in Chatham-Kent.
Residents who are unable to attend in person can still provide feedback online through the municipality’s Let’s Talk platform.
