Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 40-year-old man from Blenheim has been charged following an ongoing sexual assault investigation in Harwich Township.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Major Crime Section arrested the man on Jan. 20 in connection with the investigation. He has been charged with six counts of sexual assault, one count of assault and one count of committing an indecent act in a public place.
The accused was held for bail and has been remanded into custody. Police say no names or identifying details will be released to protect the identity of the victim or victims. The investigation remains ongoing.
