Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent and the Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise have announced the second run of the popular Catch the Ace CK progressive lottery, with ticket sales opening online Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026.
Organizers say the initial run of the lottery wrapped up in December, with Thamesville resident Greg Spence winning $9,639 during week 33. Over the course of the 33-week run, $6,274 was paid out to weekly winners, while $15,685 was raised in support of the charitable causes of the lottery’s co-sponsors.
Proceeds from each ticket sold are split between community support, the growing jackpot and weekly prizes, with half of all sales directed to charitable causes, 30 per cent added to the progressive jackpot and 20 per cent awarded to the weekly winner.
Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise member Glenn Smith said the game rules have been updated for the new run, including a lower entry price. Tickets can now be purchased for as little as $5, a change Smith said is intended to make it easier for people to participate each week.
Tickets will be available online at www.catchtheaceck.ca and in person at the ReStore, located at 55 Junction Ave. in Chatham. Purchases can be made using Interac, debit or major credit cards.
