Chatham-Kent workforce forum to highlight labour market trends, AI impacts

The Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board will host its 2026 Community Presentation and Forum on Tuesday, March 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham.
The event will provide insights into current labour market trends and developments in Chatham-Kent. This year’s forum will feature findings from three major research initiatives, including the 2025 EmployerOne Survey, the 2025 Local Labour Market Plan, and new research examining the impacts of artificial intelligence and emerging workforce demand in the community.
“The annual CKWPB Forum is an opportunity for employers, policy makers, service providers, and community stakeholders to come together and learn about what is happening in Chatham-Kent’s labour market. The event provides timely insights to support strategic planning, workforce development, and community decision-making as Chatham-Kent continues to adapt to evolving economic and technological conditions,” said CK Workforce Planning Board Chair Ron Coristine.
Registration is required to attend the forum. Additional information and registration details are available online at 2026CKWPBForum.Eventbrite.ca.
