Organizers of the Dresden Night Market say the summer edition of the popular market will no longer be held, as they concentrate their efforts on the annual Christmas market.
“As the Dresden Night Market continues to grow, we’ve made the decision to retire the Summer Night Market,” the organizers said, noting that hosting two events each year has become increasingly challenging.
The statement added that while the summer market will not take place, the Dresden Christmas Night Market is set to return this November. “We look forward to working more closely with Dresden Shines on making Christmas Town bigger and brighter than ever,” the organizers said.
They encouraged residents to explore other local summer events across Dresden and Chatham-Kent. “While we won’t see you this summer, we encourage you to visit all the amazing summer events that happen in our area!”
Since its launch in 2018, the Summer Night Market has been a fixture for local shoppers and families. “Thank you for the amazing summer memories and for all your support of the Summer Night Market since 2018. See you in November!” the organizers said.
