The Chatham-Kent Public Library is inviting local youth to take part in its 2026 Teen Art Contest, centred on the theme “Imagination.”

The contest is open to teens aged 12 to 18 who live in or attend school in Chatham-Kent. Participants can submit original work in four categories: painting, drawing, photography and mixed media, with one winner selected in each category.

Submissions will be accepted from March 1 to May 26, 2026, and must be entered digitally as a .jpg or .png file along with a completed application form. Winners are expected to be announced by the end of June.

Contest guidelines and application forms are available through the Chatham-Kent Public Library website. Entries can be submitted by email to cklibrary@chatham-kent.ca.

For more information, residents can call 519-354-2940 or email the library directly.
