OPP investigating trailer theft in Camlachie (Photos)

OPP officials allege: The Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a theft from a business in Camlachie, within the Township of Plympton-Wyoming.

Police say they received a report on March 20, 2026, regarding a theft that occurred earlier in the month at a business on Egremont Road.

According to investigators, an unknown individual or individuals attended the property on March 9, 2026, at approximately 3:40 p.m. in a pickup truck, attached a utility trailer and left the area with it.

The stolen trailer is described as a 2015 silver U-Haul 14-foot utility trailer.

The suspect vehicle is described as a 1999-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 that is two-tone red and silver.

Photos of the suspect vehicle and stolen trailer have been released as the investigation continues.

Police are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect vehicle or have information about the whereabouts of the stolen trailer to contact Lambton OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
