Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public’s help in obtaining video footage as part of an ongoing investigation.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said that on March 26, 2026, at approximately 1 p.m., two unknown individuals attended a residence in the Prestancia area, specifically near Valencia Drive in Chatham. The individuals were observed arriving and departing in what is believed to be a black Dodge Journey. At approximately 1:20 p.m., the same vehicle was seen in the Campus Parkway area.
Police described the suspects as “a male wearing all-black clothing and a black face mask” and “a female wearing all-black clothing and carrying a pink dog leash.” Both individuals were reported to be wearing face coverings.
Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the Prestancia and Valencia Drive area to review any available surveillance or dash camera footage recorded between 12:45 p.m. and 1:15 p.m., as well as footage from the Campus Parkway area between 1:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.
Police said they are particularly interested in any footage showing a black Dodge Journey, estimated to be a 2010 to 2015 model, or individuals matching the provided descriptions.
