Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Two individuals are facing charges after an alleged breach of court-ordered conditions during a police investigation in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent police say officers were investigating a stolen vehicle incident at a gas station on McNaughton Avenue on April 1, 2026, at approximately 2:28 a.m., when a 32-year-old Chatham-Kent woman and a 41-year-old man were located at the scene.
Investigators say the woman was bound by court-ordered conditions issued Dec. 24, 2025, including a curfew and restrictions on contact with a specified individual. Police allege she was outside her residence during curfew hours and in the company of a person she was prohibited from contacting.
The woman has been charged with three counts of failing to comply with a release order. The man has been charged with facilitating a breach.
Both were transported to police headquarters and are being held for bail.
