The event will take place at Studio One inside the Chatham Cultural Centre, located at 75 William St. N., on Saturday, April 25, from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., with remarks scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Organizers say the gathering is intended to honour Snyder’s life and his many contributions to the community, with attendees invited to share stories and memories.

Coffee and pastries will be provided.

Donations in Snyder’s memory will be accepted for the Wallaceburg & District Council for the Arts.

Snyder, who was the first board chair for the CK Arts Council, died back in February while spending time at his winter home in New Zealand.

He was 73.
