OPP officials allege: Provincial police are investigating a break-in and a separate robbery in Middlesex and Lambton counties that occurred in the early morning hours of April 9.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers from the Middlesex County detachment were called at 2:59 a.m. to a business on Elginfield Road in Parkhill, in the Municipality of North Middlesex, for a report of a break and enter.
Investigators determined that an unknown individual or individuals gained entry to the business through a drive-thru window between 1:30 a.m. and 1:45 a.m.
Later that morning, at approximately 3:55 a.m., officers from the Lambton County detachment responded to a business on Confederation Line in Warwick Township for a reported robbery. Police said one individual was located inside the business before fleeing the scene.
The suspect remains outstanding and is described as between five-foot-nine and six feet tall, wearing dark-coloured pants and a black ski mask, with brown eyes.
