OPP officials allege: A Sarnia resident is facing impaired driving-related charges following a traffic stop on Highway 402, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
Police said officers with the Lambton County detachment conducted the stop at approximately 12:30 a.m. on April 11 in Warwick Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old woman from Sarnia was arrested and charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit and driving without a proper rear light.
Police said the accused was issued a 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on May 4, 2026.
Police are reminding the public to report impaired driving by calling 911 in emergency situations or 1-888-310-1122 for non-emergency complaints involving aggressive or careless driving.
