Families in Wallaceburg will have a chance to get moving together this PA Day as CK Recreation partners with CK EarlyON to host a PlayON family event focused on active play, physical literacy and fun for all ages.
The outdoor program is designed for children aged 0 to 12 accompanied by a parent or caregiver and will feature games and movement-based activities intended to encourage healthy development through play.
The event takes place Friday, April 24 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Glen Mickle Park, located at 6 Henry St. in Wallaceburg.
Organizers say the drop-in style event will offer families an opportunity to take part in guided and informal activities designed to promote physical literacy in an outdoor setting, with programming led by CK Recreation in collaboration with CK EarlyON.
