The Municipality of Chatham-Kent recognized dozens of residents for their contributions to the community during the fourth annual Community Recognition Awards.
The event, held Wednesday night and sponsored by CN Railway, celebrated individuals whose volunteer efforts have made a meaningful impact across Chatham-Kent.
“These are all residents go the extra mile and put their skills, effort, and time into making Chatham-Kent a better place for everyone,” said Mayor Darrin Canniff. “I want to thank each of this year’s award winners and their families for everything they do. CK wouldn’t be as amazing as it is without each and every one of you. I also want to thank all of the community members and Councillors who came out to support this great group of people.”

The municipality also extended its thanks to all volunteers for their continued service and dedication.
