Hazlett: Phyllis (Perry), a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the age of 89.
Born in Tupperville, daughter of the late Carman and Maude (Weaver) Perry.
Phyllis was a rural mail carrier for Canada Post for 50 years.
She loved nature, gardening, flowers, playing cards and bowling.
Beloved wife of the Late Orval Hazlett.
Loving mother of Cathy Hazlett, Kim Stuart and her chosen daughters Deborah and Janice Shepley.
Proud grandma of Jamie Drury.
Dear sister of Shirley Johnson.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a grandson Jason Drury (1981), a sister Ethel McCann, and brothers Robert and Carmen Perry Jr.
At Phyllis’s request cremation will take place.
Her family will remember her privately. Interment of Cremains in Arnold Cemetery, Louisvile at a later date.
