Aileen Marie “Coc” DeBot of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at Fairfield Park on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at the age of 98.
Aileen is the daughter of the late Joseph & Kathryn (Benn) Coveny.
Beloved wife of Lloyd John Louis ‘Louie’ DeBot (2020). Cherished mother of Lynn DeBot, Janet DeBuck (Montie) and the late Kevin DeBot. Dear grandmother of Amanda DeBot (Matt), Adrianna DeBot (Kyle), Cody Regnier (Mike) and Zachary DeBot Neufeld and great grandmother of Andrew, Danny and Faye.
Sister of Agnes Blain (Ralph) and Rita McCallum (Don).
Aileen and her husband Lloyd were dedicated farmers, tilling mostly in Chatham Gore and Walpole Island First Nation.
Aileen always cherished her pets whether chosen or strays.
She was an avid lover of house design, old westerns but mostly her family.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 10 – 11 AM with the funeral to follow at 11 AM. Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
