The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation has launched its Igniting Healthcare Retro 50/50 campaign in partnership with RetroFest 2026.
The campaign officially began May 7 and runs through June 25, 2026.
Foundation officials said the partnership brings together the annual fundraising lottery and one of Chatham-Kent’s most anticipated community events.
The Igniting Healthcare 50/50 campaign has generated more than $2 million in ticket sales to date in support of healthcare needs at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Chatham and Wallaceburg sites.
“We’re proud to partner with RetroFest 2026 as the official 50/50 partner,” said Christine Mitchell, president and CEO of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation. “Events like RetroFest bring our community together and celebrate everything that makes Chatham-Kent special. We’re always excited for opportunities to be part of moments like this while also supporting local healthcare. Every ticket purchased helps strengthen care close to home for patients and families across our community.”
Tickets are available online and will also be sold during RetroFest weekend on May 22 and 23 in downtown Chatham. In-person sales are also available through the Foundation offices in Chatham and Wallaceburg.
Officials said proceeds from the campaign will support the highest priority needs at CKHA, including medical equipment, patient care technology and facility upgrades at both hospital sites.
The campaign will also feature weekly Retro Reward early bird draws every Wednesday throughout the campaign, excluding the day before the grand prize draw. Each draw will award a $500 prize sponsored by Lambton Conveyor, Chorley + Bisset Consulting Engineers, Kent & Essex Mutual Insurance and PIB Navacord.
Last year’s spring 50/50 winner, George Kernohan of Morpeth, won a grand prize jackpot of $50,860.
The grand prize draw is scheduled for June 25, 2026.
