Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 31-year-old Morpeth man is facing charges after an alleged family dispute in Morpeth on Monday night.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an address in Morpeth at about 9:58 p.m. on May 25.
Police said the accused had earlier been apprehended under the Mental Health Act and later discharged from hospital. After returning home, he allegedly threatened to kill a family member.
As a result of the investigation, the man was arrested and charged with uttering threats.
Police said the accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
