Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Ridgetown man has been charged after police say a traffic stop on Erieau Road led to a driving prohibition arrest on June 14.
Chatham-Kent Police Service said that at approximately 8:40 a.m., an officer received an Automated Licence Plate Recognition hit on a vehicle while patrolling in the area, prompting a traffic stop.
Police said investigation determined the driver was suspended.
A 27-year-old Ridgetown man was arrested for driving while prohibited. He was later released on a Form 9 with a future court date and his vehicle was impounded.
