Chatham man charged after breaching no-contact order

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police say a 37-year-old man has been charged after he went to the home of a woman he was barred from contacting.

Police said the man attended the woman’s residence in Chatham at 12:19 p.m. on July 14, in violation of conditions not to communicate with her. Officers located him nearby and arrested him.

He was charged with two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.

He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
