OPP identify suspects in two separate Lambton County theft investigations

The Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has identified individuals connected to two separate theft investigations in the area.

In the first incident, an unknown individual arrived at a business on River Front Street in Point Edward in a pickup truck on July 21, 2026, at approximately 1 a.m. The suspect got out of the vehicle, stole a powerboat charging cord, and left the area in the same vehicle.

In the second incident, two unknown individuals entered a business on Broadway Street in the Town of Wyoming on July 17, 2026, just before 7 p.m. The pair selected several grocery items and left without paying.

Both investigations remain ongoing.

The Lambton County OPP thanked the public and the media for their assistance in the investigations.
