Richard “Rick” James MacIntosh passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the age of 82, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Sydenham Campus in Wallaceburg.
Rick was a loving and devoted husband to Pat MacIntosh for 60 wonderful years.
He was the brother of Lynn (Grant) Clatworthy and the late Gary (Elaine, surviving) MacIntosh.
Son of the late Jim and Betty (Salisbury) MacIntosh.
Dear brother-in-law to the late Stew and (Ann) Cochrane, the late Chris (Fran, surviving) Savage, Judy (the late Ed) Krebich, the late David and Lynn Savage, Pam (Gary) Deighton, the late Paul (Nel, surviving) Savage, and Deb Seed.
Rick will be missed greatly by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his nephew John Cochrane and family friend Jan Anderson. Rick worked at Polysar in Sarnia for most of his adult life, retiring after over 25 years as a control operator.
Rick loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. During retirement Rick learned and loved to play golf.
