Lambton OPP officials allege: On August 29, 2020, at approximately 7 p.m. Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible drowning at Port Franks beach in Lake Huron.
It was reported that two individuals entered the water and had not resurfaced.
Lambton County OPP, Lambton County Fire Department and Lambton County Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded and one individual had been rescued from the water by a civilian bystander.
The second individual was not located.
On August 30, 2020 at approximately 7 a.m. the body of the second individual was located and pronounced deceased.
The victim has been identified as Feona Bramwell, 43-years-old of Brampton.
A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for August 31, 2020.
