Woman arrested for break and enter
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 7, 2023, a Conditional Sentence Order warrant was issued for the woman’s arrest.
On January 2, 2024, police responded to a break and enter at a business on Talbot Trail in Harwich Township, where a pick-up truck had been stolen.
Later that day, the pick-up truck was recovered on King Street in Chatham.
Through investigation, officers identified the woman involved and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
On February 29, 2024, officers located the woman on Pearl Crescent in Chatham and arrested her.
The 40-year-old Chatham woman was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
She is currently charged with possession of stolen property and break and enter.
Man arrested for failing to attend court
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 12:59 p.m., police responded to James Street in Wallaceburg for a well-being check.
Upon arrival, officers located the man and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant for failing to attend court.
The 36-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 29, 2024, at 4:13 p.m., police responded to Berry Street in Chatham for an unrelated investigation.
Upon arrival, officers located the man and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The 30-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters. He was held pending a bail hearing.
He is currently facing the following charges: failing to attend court, two counts of assault and five counts of driving while under suspension.
