Sarnia Police Service officials allege: The Sarnia Police Major Case Action Team (MCAT) continues to investigate drug trafficking offences in the City of Sarnia.
On March 27, 2025, MCAT officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle involved in criminal activity.
The two occupants were arrested and a search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of quantities of crack cocaine, cash, and drug paraphernalia consistent with trafficking.
Along with the SPS Emergency Response Team (ERT) and K9, MCAT executed a subsequent search warrant at a Marcin Road residence. During the search of the residence, cocaine and methamphetamine were discovered.
Total Seized:
· Cocaine: 216.79 grams (combined total from vehicle and residence)
· Methamphetamine: 0.19 grams
· Currency: $1,710.00
· Bear spray/mace
(Estimated street value of drugs: $22,000)
A 34-year-old Sarnia resident was held for bail on the following charges:
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of property obtained by crime (cash)
• Possession of a prohibited weapon
A 38 year-old Sarnia resident was held for bail on the following charges:
